ABOUT FFMI
Famous Frames Mobile Interactive / FFMI is a forward looking studio pioneering next generation digital production and distribution.
Mark C. Miller (CEO), Steven Schmidt (President) and the work of the Famous creative team extends across the US and Americas to Europe, the Mideast and Asia. We have artists and New Media producers in over 20 countries. Our state-of-the-art animation partners in South Korea illustrate the direction of FFMI's next-gen ventures. Our nGen platform is a powerful engine for reaching a multi-channel universe, delivering entertainment, games, and messaging 24/7/365.
"When we started FFMI, people thought we were too out in front," Mark Miller explains. "One example -- we were regularly told that next to no one wanted to watch multimedia content on mobile devices, the screens were 'too small', the technology wasn't there and the web wasn't ready for prime-time video. Clearly the game has changed. Our vision is now where the action is and high speed mobile internet devices are the next wave worldwide."
FFMI, Famous Mobile and F2D (Famous Frames Digital) are extensions of the deep talent roster of Famous Frames, America's largest storyboard artist agency that recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Famous Frames artists represent a who's who of creative talent and for over 20 years Famous artists have rendered the cinematic visions of the industry's top directors, studios, networks, ad agencies and game development shops.
The formation of FFMI now allows creative talent to distribute their works without the big budgets and the 'it's who you know' barriers of Old Hollywood," adds Miller. "What New Media comes down to is immediate interaction between the artist's vision and each of us."
"As the Old Media model becomes history, FFMI will lead the charge. In association with creative artists, content partners and producers, FFMI will provide full services, from development and production to online/wireless distribution. Our goal is to be 'always on', connected and available at an instant, anytime and anywhere in our new 360 world."
